Agrolab – Intelligent Fertilization
What is it about?
The Intelligent Fertilisation agrolab aims to provide a fertilisation recommendation tailored to each crop’s specific needs, considering collected samples and vigour indices obtained from satellite images. A variable fertilisation map will be created to apply to the crops based on their needs at each point, thereby enhancing the crop’s efficiency and yield.
What can users test?
In this agrolab, variable fertilisation will be implemented in the CENCA plots, and the results will be made available to iHUB users through the FIWARE La Vega Innova platform. Additionally, at the iHub La Vega Innova, we have a specialised team ready to demonstrate how it works. We will provide information on CENCA’s soil analysis and the plot location, showing an example of a personalised fertilisation recommendation that can be downloaded for its subsequent application.

When will it be available?
This Agrolab will be active from December 2023 to March 2024 with mentorship, and from April 2024 to March 2025, it will remain accessible to iHUB visitors, albeit without experimental guidance.
Development entity
The Agrolab will be managed by the Auravant platform, where the Smart Fertilisation service will be offered.
